Berklee College of Music is kicking off a new Children’s Concert Series at Cafe 939 in Boston.
The first concert will be held this Saturday, January 9th, and will feature the awesome Debbie & Friends! As I’ve mentioned before, Debbie puts on a great show for little kids and her concerts can be a nice way to introduce live music to your children if they haven’t been out to see a full band show before. The atmosphere is exciting, but not overwhelming.
Take your pick from two shows, one at 10am and one at 11:30am. Both shows will be held in Berklee’s newest performance venue, The Red Room at Cafe 939, located at 939 Boylston Street in Boston. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids. You can find out more about purchasing tickets here.
And if you’re hungry after the show, The Cactus Club is offering 20% off lunch entrees to anyone with a ticket from Debbie’s show! Yum!
But here’s the catch: This is a new series and they need to find out if there is really an interest in children’s music in Boston. The more people who show up to these shows on Saturday, the better chance they’ll continue the series. So let’s show them that we’re interested!
If you want to come but can’t afford the tickets, be sure to contact Debbie through her website, www.DebbieAndFriends.net, because she may be able to help!
