I recently learned of another really cool music school here in Massachusetts. If you’re looking to get your kids music lessons or just want your little ones to become involved in a music program, you’ll want to check them out.
DeAngelis Studio of Music & Arts is located in Haverhill and offers lessons in all instruments and vocals starting from age zero to adult.
I asked them to explain their program, and this is what they had to say…
For kids age zero to five years we offer MusikGarten. An upgrade from Kindermusik, this Musikgarten program teaches basic music, sharing, and listening skills, which better prepares children for learning instruments or becoming vocalists.
Our private instrument and vocal lessons are offered in all music styles by the best teachers around. Many students, once they are ready, go on to do “Performance Camp” or “Rock School.” Rock school puts kid and teen bands together with similar ages, levels, and music styles; teaches them how to be “a band;” and prepares them to perform. Our “Performance Camp” takes lead vocalists and works on their stage presence, projection, and breathing techniques and prepares them to be better “front people.”
Our Rock School bands and Performance Camp vocalists are invited to perform at many different events, fairs, and shows throughout the area,all open to the public. This Sunday (December 13th) we are doing the Rockingham Mall in Salem, NH at 5pm. We will be located on the lower level, in front of the now closed Filene’s near Macy’s and the Lindt Store. We will have four “Rock School” bands doing a couple of songs each and will close with a Christmas Song featuring our “Performance Camp” vocalists.
We are a very family-oriented school and our members enjoy the way we are very supportive of all of our members. In addition to music training we also offer instrument repair, custom guitars, demo recording, music videos, photography, and much more.
