is a fun album. While I enjoy listening carefully to the songs and picking up the subtle (and not-so-subtle) jokes, my four-year-old son, Ivan, loves the rocking beats and sing-along choruses. Something for everyone!
Eric Herman also plays with different music styles. From rocking guitar on Come Play!
to the soothing melodies of How Big
, you’ll find a little bit of everything on this CD. Eric says, “What I love about performing and writing songs for children is how open they are to different genres of music.”
I love that about kids too! And it’s a great learning experience for them when you expose them to different types of music.
I really love the silly songs on this CD, like Stink Bug
and Carseat Snack
, but my favorite song is Time Machine
. I just love the line, “I know who I am, just don’t know when.” I think I feel like that some days!
