Outdoor Family Concert, 6 pm, on Thursday, July 23 at Robbins Library, 700 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington Center. Fundraiser for children’s music in the Arlington, MA libraries! http://www.robbinslibrary.org. Featuring Liz Buchanan, Sulinha, and Gordon MacFarland. Great original tunes, classic favorites and a Brazilian beat! Bring friends, neighbors, blanket, a picnic and your contribution to the Friends of Robbins Library.

Get ready for some sing-along, dance-along, laugh-along family fun in this rockin’ musical journey through classic kids’ tales and original songs! Parents and kids join in this interactive “variety show,” which includes a diverse array of styles including rock, pop, country, reggae, and Broadway-esque tunes. The ever popular Toe Jam Puppet Band will be having a family fun concert at the Milton Woman’s Clubhouse, 90 Reedsdale Road, Milton, MA 02186, during School Vacation week, on Tuesday, February 16, at 11 a.m. This one-hour event is organized by the Milton Junior Woman’s Club. Ticket price is $8 per person, infants are free. No advance tickets. Snacks and beverages will be available. Street parking. Experience the Boston Harbor Islands this summer! Check out the Toe Jam Puppet Band: The Green Show, where through music, song, and puppetry, children will learn about the importance of recycling and how everyone must keep the earth clean. The show will run twice on Georges Island on Sunday, August 1, from 12:00-1:00 pm and then 2:00-3:00 pm. The event is free, and it is designed especially for kids. Ferry fares: Adult $14, Senior (age 65+) $10, Child (3-11) $8. Children under age 3 are FREE. Family Four-Packs are $39. Liz Buchanan will be playing and singing at Henry Bears Park monthly Free Friday Family Music night June 18th from 5-6. Liz brings her lively,Jazzy tunes to us to sing with her. The Acton Children’s School presents a performance by children’s entertainer, recording artist, and PBS Kids co-host “Mr. Steve” Roslonek of SteveSongs. The concert will be held in Acton on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10:30 am in the Parker Damon Building Cafetorium at 11 Charter Road (in the school complex off of Massachusetts Ave. – detailed directions available at http://actonchildrensschool.org/stevesong.html).

Join Steve on an entertaining and interactive musical journey as he performs creative songs and stories from his Parents’ Choice Gold Award Winning releases Marvelous Day and On a Flying Guitar, along with favorites from his other popular CDs.
