Guitar Center Boston

Guitar Center Boston.

For kids (and parents) who love music, Guitar Center is like an instrument play ground. Each room is full of wonders: Do you want to learn about different types of acoustic guitars in the guitar room, or check out keyboards in the piano room? Maybe you could sample the different sounds of cymbals in the cymbal room, or beat out funky rhythms in the percussion room.

Whatever type of musical instruments you’re interested in, you’re sure to find something fun to play with here. And their new location on 1255 Boylston Street is just fabulous! Two stories, lots to look at and listen to, plenty to touch, and great lighting and sound equipment to tantalize the senses!

We set out for Guitar Center this Saturday looking for a new set of drums for Ivan, but we played in the store for about an hour before finally making our purchase. The percussion room is definitely our favorite because it’s also home to some very interesting world instruments, like rain sticks, shekeres, and caxixis.

In the end we decided to go with a very nice set of Bongo drums. And, as you can see, Ivan was very pleased with our decision!
