Space Rabbits of Brocklevoons

Kate Rowe

You may not have heard of Kate Rowe or her encounter with the Space Rabbits of Brocklevoons, which she says is a very serious and true story about the time pink space rabbits showed up in her kitchen demanding she give them her spoons.

Kate is an australian folk singer who has also been writing and singing some really fun and entertaining kids’ songs. Her Space Rabbits of Brocklevoons won the John Lennon Song Writing Contest for children’s music this year. You can download the song by clicking here.

This song gets my son laughing hysterically every time we listen to it, so I decided to see if I could find any other kids’ songs by Kate. On YouTube you can watch a video of Kate playing Space Rabbits or another of her singing Fred the Dog. You can purchase both songs at the iTunes Store.

Her website says that she is “writing a full-length Space Rabbits musical,” which sounds awesome, and also links to a few of her other projects. You can also find her on Facebook.

I’ll keep you posted on any further Space Rabbit news….
