Kid city.

Are you ready for some culture? On Saturday you can take your kids out to the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Family Concert Series at 10:15 am or 12:00 pm. They will be holding pre-concert activities, including an instrument playground and instrument demonstrations.

Or maybe you’d like to introduce your kids to opera? TCAN is presenting Once Upon an Opera also on Saturday.

The Back Bay Ringers are playing a free concert on Sunday and the Boston Youth Symphony is also playing on Sunday.

If Jazz is your thing, then you’re going to want to check out the Riverboat Stompers at Amazing Things on Sunday.

But if you’re looking for more traditional children’s music, then check out Wayne Potash in Harvard Square on Saturday, Sara Wheeler at the Regent on Sunday, or Rick Goldin at the Wenham Museum on Sunday.

It’s a weekend packed with an array of music events, so go out and have some fun!

Check our Calendar of Events for locations, times, and ticket prices.
