What’s Happening This Weekend? January 30 & 31

Kids playing.

Have you ever noticed how most websites designed to tell you about upcoming family events tend to decay into a collection of ads for fee-based classes, workshops, or other non-events?

Yes, maybe someone somewhere is holding an open house this weekend to try to get you to sign up for a five week music course or someone else might really want you to visit their website and sign up for their free newsletter, but you won’t find that information here.

Nope. All I do is list the really fun music shows happening in Massachusetts; The shows I would take my own family to (and do)!

So enough griping. Here are our three picks for fun shows this weekend:

  • jeanniemack will be playing at Finagle-a-bagel in Cambridge at 11am on Saturday.
  • Wayne Potash will be playing at the Arlington Heights Nursery School at 10am on Sunday.
  • Ben Rudnick & Friends will be playing at the Town of Lincoln Winter Carnival at 1:30pm on Sunday.

We’re definitely making it to the first two, and if Ivan still has energy on Sunday afternoon, we just might get to the BR&F show, too. Hope to see you there!

Hello,

I admire the support and appreciation you’re giving to artists in your area—and would love to be one of them. Am open to any ideas you may have about bringing my bilingual music programs to Boston!

Music kisses,

Lisa Monet
