There are a couple of free shows this Saturday that look like fun. Christ Church Cambridge is hosting a free family concert by The Radius Ensemble at 10 am.
Also on Saturday, the Cambridge-Ellis School is hosting a free Community Day to raise money for the school. They will offer a tumbling area with mats and games for the kids, a yard sale, and a free concert by Vanessa Trien! The event is runs 10 am to 1 pm and Vanessa Trien is scheduled to start her performance at 10:30.
The Ashfield Community Preschool is also hosting a Spring Celebration and Benefit Day with a Maypole, a baby animals barnyard, crafts, music, and food. The event begins at 10 am on Saturday and The Nields will be performing at 11:00.
Another fun family music event this weekend is the North Shore Folk Festival in Salem. The festival runs from 12 pm to 8 pm on Saturday and features over a dozen great folk musicians. Tickets are only $10 in advance or $14 at the door and the event is both smoking and alcohol free.
