Saturday is going to be a big day on the esplanade in Boston—EarthFest 2010 is arriving to what looks like clear skies and perfect temps. What a day to get outside and listen to some really cool free music!
You can look up the schedule for the kids’ stage here but the highlights for us will be Debbie & Friends at 11am followed by Ben Rudnick & Friends at 12:15pm. This sounds so exciting that I’m actually worried Ivan may have too much fun seeing his two favorite bands perform one right after the other. He may pass out from pure joy!
If you’re looking for an indoor show on Saturday and don’t want to brave the crowds downtown (and who can blame you), you could check out Sara Wheeler and Little Groove playing over at Coolidge Corner at 10:30 on Saturday.
And then if you’re still looking to party on Sunday, there’s the big They Might Be Giants show over at the Regent. They’ll be performing two shows (12pm and 3pm) and it looks like the turn out is going to be massive. If you haven’t already purchased your tickets you’d better hurry. I hear they are moving fast!
And you thought you were going to spend a quiet weekend at home.
