Win FREE Tickets to See Charlie Hope!

by Amber on June 16, 2010

We listen to a lot of CDs in this family and I must admit that sometimes it takes a little while for a new artist to grow on us. But when we first heard Charlie Hope’s I’m Me! last year we all knew immediately that the CD was phenomenal. I love it, my son loves it, and even my husband loves it!

Charlie Hope has an amazing voice that just grabs hold of you and won’t let go. Her songs are sweet, her voice rich, and her original songs are instant classics.

We began listening to World of Dreams a few months later and it quickly became our number one lullaby CD. If Ivan needs to calm down for a nap or wind down after a long day in the evening, this is our go-to music. That richness of Charlie’s voice lends itself so well to the mellow and quiet melodies on this lullaby CD. She really is outstanding.

Of course we can’t wait to see her perform live at Club Passim in a couple weeks! She’ll be there on July 3rd at 10:30am.

So, do you want to see Charlie Hope play live, too? Well, here’s your chance to win a Family 4-Pack of tickets to her show at Club Passim in Harvard Square! As a bonus, Charlie is throwing in two signed CDs, one copy of I’m Me! and one copy of World of Dreams. How exciting!

All you have to do is comment on this post below or contact me and let me know which of Charlie’s songs is your favorite. That’s it!

Hi Amber! We would love these tickets! I really enjoy Charlie’s voice! My favorite song so far is “Rain Song” off her new CD.

I’ve posted about this contest on my Facebook account. I hope the show is packed!

what an awesome voice and a wonderful bunch of songs.
our daughter loves “the frog song” and of course “i’m me”, while i’m actually enamored with the lullaby cd. i could listen to it for hours.
love “my balloon”, just so dreamy and ethereal.

My two boys love the Train Song and I have to admit that I find myself singing it all the time. I definitely need to get the lullaby cd to help at naptime!

Didn’t see the facebook button until I’d already posted, so I had to go back and post to my Facebook page so all my friends know she’s coming to the area. We all really enjoyed the concert she gave to our Mothers & More Chapter last fall. Look forward to the concert!

I know it’s an oldie, but it is a goodie. My 2 year old daughter and I love Charlie’s 2 Little Blackbirds. I find myself humming it all day, although not quite as sweetly as Charlie does. We listen to a lot of music in our house, and take part in our local libraries music class, but Charlie’s version of some very common songs is amazing!!! Her own songs are all so moving and true of most children I know. I am a little biased, as I grew up with Charlie, went to high school with her, and graduated with her!!! She was always fantastic then, and she still is. We can’t wait to see her next week, and can’t wait to see my 2 year old dancing and signing at her very first live concert!!!!
